"Quarantine Fairy" Josie Parker Gives Back to the Connect Center

After a year of doing acts of service for her community, Josie Parker, the "Quarantine Fairy", decided to help the Connect Center in honor of her 11th birthday!

Josie planned a drive through birthday parade/food drive for the Connect Center's BackPack program. The BackPack program helps feed 40 local Cohoes families through collaboration with the Regional Food Bank and Sasha Mae Productions. 

Josie's efforts have led to not only an enormous supply of nonperishable food, but thousands of dollars in donations. The Connect Center plans to use these resources to expand the BackPack program into a summer meal supply program for our local families.
