The Connect Center is a youth-oriented community center located in Cohoes, NY. With a mission of breaking the cycle of poverty by connecting youth to their full potential, the Connect Center uses holistic programming initiatives in innovative ways to better serve its community. With a small staff and a culture of progress and solidarity, the Connect Center implements its values of community, empowerment, and innovation in every step of what it does.
The Director of Program Development (DPD) primarily works developing, planning, and overseeing programming for the organization. This staff member works closely under the Executive Director and alongside the Resource Development Coordinator. The DPD organizes the Connect Center’s Summer of STEAM free summer program and the Connect After School Fall/Spring programs.
- Hours: Very flexible but 40 hours per week is required.
