This past Saturday, our community came together to help prepare the Connect Center for our upcoming Ribbon Cutting event on Wednesday February 17th. We are looking forward to welcoming the housing authority, Cohoes City officials, our Grace in Action volunteers, and the media to officially open the doors to our Music Studio and Black Box Theater which is going to be used for the Connect Lab, a socially distanced academic space for qualifying students, for the next few months.

We worked together to clear out, clean, and set up our co-working space, furnish our music studio, and prepare the Center for our event. This week's volunteers learned about the Connect Center through social media and by word of mouth. We are looking forward to widening our volunteer network in the future to keep making community connections.

At the end of our volunteer work day, we enjoyed pizza, wings, and mac and cheese from local pizzaria PizzaStop.
