Supporting Our Community Through Service and Connection

Volunteers help make The Connect Center’s work possible. From supporting youth programs to assisting with food access initiatives and community events, volunteers play an important role in helping us create opportunities, build connections, and support families throughout Cohoes.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Whether you are volunteering individually, as a group, or through a business or organization, there are many ways to support The Connect Center and make an impact in the community.

CONNECT PANTRY

Support food access efforts by helping organize, pack, and distribute pantry items and essential household goods for individuals and families in the community.​

BACKPACK PROGRAM

Help prepare and organize food and essentials distributed through the Backpack Program to support students and families outside of school hours.

YOUTH PROGRAMS

Volunteer opportunities are available through programs like Connect After School and Summer of S.T.E.A.M. by helping support activities, mentorship, and community engagement.

COMMUNITY EVENTS

Assist with community events, outreach efforts, setup, activities, and creating welcoming experiences for attendees throughout the year.
