Service Description

A hands-on engineering experience where students take apart and rebuild a computer tower from scratch. After mastering the hardware and learning how the components work together, every participant gets to take their computer home.

Cancellation Policy

The Connect Center is a space with programs designated for students in grades 6–12 to foster community, empowerment, and innovation. By registering my student, I give permission for them to participate in programs at the Connect Center. I hereby release the Connect Center, its employees, agents, and volunteers from any and all liability, claims, demands, causes of action, and possible causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury (including death) that may be sustained by my student while participating in or traveling to and from programs at the Connect Center. The Connect Center is not responsible for any loss of property due to damage, loss, or theft. I understand that personal injury can and may occur to my student and authorize the Connect Center’s appointed advisor to seek and consent to emergency medical attention for my child as needed. I further agree to be liable for and pay all costs incurred in connection with such medical attention. Connect Center Code of Conduct As a Connect Center youth, students agree to listen to and follow instructions from the Connect Center team; refrain from disruptive activities; keep their hands to themselves; use kind and appropriate language; respect other people’s belongings; clean up after themselves; respect the Connect Center and those in it; not bring or create weapons in the facility; and never enter a room in the Connect Center unsupervised. Students are also aware that after being spoken to three times, they may be asked to leave.
