Volunteer organizing food shelves in a pantry

Connect Pantry

The Connect Pantry provides food and essential resources to individuals and families in Cohoes. In partnership with the Regional Food Bank, we help increase access to nutritious food while working to break the cycle of poverty in our community.

Food Access
& Community Support

The Connect Center Community Pantry provides emergency food assistance in the form of a three‑day supply of food per person. Guests select from an available menu, and trained volunteers carefully pack and prepare their orders to ensure accuracy, dignity, and ease of access. In addition to core food items, guests may choose from fresh bread and bakery items, assorted shelf‑stable foods, and, when available, feminine hygiene products, general hygiene items, and cleaning supplies.

Pre-registration can be done from home

The Connect Center also hosts Mom Starts Here, a supportive program for families with pregnant women and children from infancy through age five who qualify for assistance, connecting them to essential resources during critical early years.
